We first met Martin and Helen when work was underway to extend first floor farmhouse living space into the attached barn. This was to create a large master suite; to include a spacious master bathroom and dressing room.
Working with the client from initial concept, the brief was to create a luxury bathroom that complimented the rustic feel of a Lancashire farmhouse. The one “must have” was a copper and nickel freestanding bath that looked out over the beautiful views.
We opted for the Hurlingham Copper Bulle bath as the centre piece to this design. Vado Individual brushed nickel brassware offered an industrial nod and complemented the bespoke artisan vanity unit, which we teamed with the sleek Duravit XSquare basin.
A large walk-in shower offered luxurious showering facilities and we sat a stone resin shower tray level deck with warm wood effect porcelain tiles. Out inhouse installation team did a fabulous job of scribing these floor tiles around the exposed stone wall, stunning craftmanship and attention to detail. The room had underfloor heating, a Zehnder Charleston Bar towel rail, and a vintage, reclaimed cast iron radiator.
Every minute detail of this bathroom came together to create the most classically beautiful space to be enjoyed by our clients for many years to come.
“Excellent service and imaginative design by Sophie. The whole experience with RVB was great. She listened and sourced the right products, and once put together by Sophie the bathroom looks superb and makes the whole space truly fantastic. I would highly recommend RVB”
