Bea and Andrew wanted to update their inherited lacklustre bathrooms to those that would bring a sense of contemporary style to their beautifully idyllic country home.
We sought to create a cohesive design between their house bathroom and ensuite while infusing elements of fun and personality into the spaces.
With a preference for neutral tones and minimalistic lines, we aimed to strike a balance between modern aesthetics yet a space that offers a cosy feeling of delight.
Our clients’ preference for warm neutral tones and clean lines is evident throughout, but the introduction of contrasting elements adds a touch of visual intrigue.
Emporio Bagno black brassware was specified to contrast against Mandarin Stone’s Cemento Matt White tile and sanitaryware. Catalano WC’s with the Newflush vortex flushing system offer not only style but also ecological sustainability, using less water and detergents.
These toilets feature in both rooms and sit beautifully next to the minimalistic vanity unit design by Fiora and in a matt white finish. We opted for matt white so there wasn’t another colour to rival the custom-painted Waters stone bath in Broccoli Brown by Farrow and Ball.
The beautiful Dawn bath is a real focal point in the house bathroom, positioned centre stage to the beautiful countryside views. This colour, chosen by the very daring Bea, tones so harmoniously with Mandarin Stone’s Cosmic Ivory Terrazzo tiles which really do delight your senses when walking into the bathrooms! Rather than fully tiling both spaces, the painted walls add a modern touch and enhance the overall cosiness.
Bea and Andrew’s bathrooms have been completely revitalised, indulging in an exquisite blend of minimalism, style, and functionality with an added sprinkle of fun!
